USCG Capt. Andrew Donohue I have been fishing around Baltimore Maryland for years, predominantly fishing Gunpowder river. I love spending any minute I can on the boat. I’ve gotten the opportunity to put in more time and learn the water. Now I can finally try to get everyone else on some fish. Come join me in the adventure!
HOW IT WORKS
Cast after cast after cast. Don't put the rod down! Snakeheads like a lot of the same lures that bass do. The best lures to use around the thick grass are chatter baits, swim baits, and of course top water frogs. If you want to bring the kids or just want to catch anything, I can bring the minnows. On the boat we use both spinning rods and bait casters, left or right hand, let me know what you prefer. Everything is provided, just bring your snacks and a rain jacket just in case. I usually only cancel for lighting, you can always reschedule if you would like depending on availability. I have a cooler with ice and water bottles. Snakeheads can be caught all spring, summer, and fall, but the best time of year to catch them is April/May and late June - July. With hot summers, 4 hour trips are recommended, early morning or the evening bite. $50 deposit is required that is part of the total, prices are NOT per person. TWO person limit per trip.
